A researcher from Carleton University in Ottawa is looking for residential school survivors to help with her study on what kind of impact yesterday’s apology from the Prime Minister has had on them.
Amy Bombay is with the Centre for Research on Stress, Coping, and Well-Being.
She is looking for any former students to fill out a survey on what they thought of Stephen Harper’s apology.
Bombay says she has already received a few surveys, and says the response so far is generally positive.
All participants will receive a $10 gift certificate, and their information will be kept confidential.
Bombay hopes to follow up with them in six months.
Anyone interested in participating in her study can go to her web site at www.copewell.carleton.ca or call (613) 520-2600, ext. 2692.
