The organizer of an HIV/AIDS conference in Prince Albert says she’s thrilled that over 200 people turned out for the event.
Leona Quewezance of the All Nations Hope Network says many northern residents and front-line workers were in attendance for the event at the Marlboro Inn.
She says Aboriginal people need to be the ones to help friends and family members suffering from the disease.
The conference wrapped up today.
