The Flying Dust First Nation has completed a future blueprint.
The 20-year plan is separated into five categories: building community, health and wellness, learning and teaching, environment and economic development.
Plan coordinator Judy Bear says a variety of project ideas were brought forward by concerned band members looking to make Flying Dust a better place for their children.
Bear says Flying Dust was one of four Saskatchewan bands chosen to take part in this pilot project, which was spearheaded by Indian Affairs.
She says a two-day workshop will beginn tomorrow to choose a project advisory team of community members.
According to Bear, they will look at which projects to tackle first, how they will be accomplished, and where the money to carry them out will be found.
Bear says the band is already planning to start the work by building a walking path in the community.
