Death At Penitentiary Focus Of Investigation

An investigation continues into the death of an inmate at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert.
48-year-old Garry Cardinal was found unconscious in his cell on December 28th.
Staff tried to revive the man, but he died a short time later.
The RCMP have been called in to help prison officials determine what happened.
Corrections officials say, right now, the death is not considered suspicious.
