Draude Earns Good Reviews From MN-S President

Metis Nation – Saskatchewan President Robert Doucette says his first meeting with the provincial government’s minister responsible for Metis relations went well.

Doucette met with June Draude on Wednesday.

He says they talked about the government’s duty to consult, governance, the Metis Act, and a Metis harvesting agreement.

Doucette says Premier Brad Wall made the right decision in appointing Draude to this portfolio.
