Buffalo Narrows Convenience Store Destroyed

Buffalo Narrows’ convenience store burned down yesterday, creating a gap in services for the community.

Mayor Bobby Woods says the fire broke out at the Snack Shack around 5:00 yesterday morning.

Woods says there is nothing but rubble and ash left.

He notes the community will really miss the business, because it was a place to run and grab items when the grocery store was closed.

Woods says young people will especially notice the store’s absence, since that’s where they bought snacks and rented movies.

RCMP are still investigating the cause of the fire, but Woods says local residents don’t suspect anything suspicious.
