Healing Lodge Escapee Apprehended

A missing inmate from the Willow Cree Healing Lodge has been re-captured.
51-year-old Gordon Kambeitz took off from the correctional facility on the Beardy’s/Okemasis reserve back on May 23rd.
Program officer Margaret Roy says Kambeitz was living secretly in Saskatoon, and was apprehended following a tip from the public.
She adds Kambeitz has now been transferred to the Saskatchewan Penitentiary.
