A man accused of an October murder near Christopher Lake made his first court appearance on Thursday morning.
A day earlier, Mounties arrested Ryan Clark, 28, and charged him with second-degree murder.
The arrest follows a five-month investigation into the death of 37-year-old Chris Durocher.
Last October, RCMP received a call about an assault at a camper trailer parked on private property about five kilometers west of Christopher Lake.
The cause of death has not been released.
Clark is set to return to court in mid-March, and at this time is not scheduled to seek bail.
