The RCMP Major Crime Unit is investigating a suspicious weekend death at Christopher Lake.
Shortly after 1:00 am on Sunday morning, police received a call about an assault at a camper trailer parked on private property about five kilometers west of the town.
Officers found the body of a 37-year-old man from Christopher Lake.
The victim’s name and other details on the death have not been released.
An autopsy was scheduled for this morning.
So far, no arrests have been made and no charges have been laid.
