UpDate Health Advisory Notice
Due to the potential of increasing heavy smoke conditions, people with chronic lung and heart conditions, pregnant women, elders and children 2 years and under are advised to take additional measures to reduce their exposure.
If they have suitable housing available with air conditioning and HEPA air cleaners, and they are not bothered by increasing symptoms from the smoke, they are advised to stay indoors in such accommodation.
If they do not have such housing readily available, they should consider finding suitable accommodation further south.
All those considering departing should registered their names at the Jonas Roberts Hall, Far Reserve.
Assistance with travel and accommodation can be provided once registration has been completed.
