RCMP major crimes unit is investigating the death of a 32-year-old First Nations man.
Darren Wallace George, who hails from Ochapowace First Nation near Broadview, was last seen Dec. 27 leaving a home on the Kahkewistahaw First Nation.
He was the subject of a missing persons report until Wednesday night when family members discovered his body in a wooded area not far from where he was last seen.
RCMP Corporal Rob King says police are still in the preliminary stages of their investigation.
