Car Accident in La Ronge Causes Power Outage

A significant portion of downtown La Ronge was without power this morning following a car accident.

At around 7 o’clock this morning, a car plowed into a power pole along La Ronge Avenue, nearly toppling it over.

The La Ronge RCMP says there were minor injuries, but can’t say how many people were in the vehicle at the time.

The accident is still under investigation.
