A Regina man is facing child exploitation-related charges following an investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit.

The investigation began in July after the Regina Police Service received a complaint involving online child exploitation. The Saskatchewan ICE Unit was notified and launched an investigation.

As a result, 40-year-old Michael Zatylny was charged on September 16, 2026,  with possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material and accessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material.

Zatylny made his first court appearance on September 16 and was released on court-imposed conditions.

He is scheduled to appear again in Regina Provincial Court on October 13, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.
