Regina Police are once again asking for the public’s help as they continue investigating the disappearance of Nakita Jade Harris, who has been missing for nearly three years.
Harris, who also goes by her middle name Jade, was last seen in October 2023 at a residence in the 2200 block of Broder Street and was last heard from in early November 2023. She was reported missing on April 10, 2024.
Police say months of investigation, including interviews, search warrants and other investigative techniques, have failed to produce new information about her whereabouts.
According to investigators, there has been no activity on Harris’s bank accounts or social media, and no record of her accessing public health or social services. Police also note that her family, including her now 12-year-old daughter, has not heard from her. They say it would be unusual for Harris to miss birthdays and holidays with her child.
Based on the information gathered, investigators believe Harris is deceased. However, because she has not been located, she remains on the Regina Police Service’s Long-Term Missing Persons List.
Harris is described as five-foot-five, approximately 150 pounds, with a medium build. When she was last seen, she had black hair, hazel eyes, numerous tattoos, and a pierced septum.
