A 34-year-old Prince Albert man is facing numerous firearms and drug-related charges after a police investigation led to the seizure of weapons, ammunition and drugs.
On Aug. 28, members of the Prince Albert Police Service Combined Response Team, Patrol Unit and RCMP Combined Response Team executed a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of 18th Street West and a vehicle connected to the investigation.
During the search, officers seized a Winchester Model 94 .30-30 rifle, a sawed-off Mossberg shotgun, a crossbow, four airsoft pistols, multiple rounds of ammunition, 1.3 grams of methamphetamine and a digital scale.
Earlier that day, patrol officers arrested the man on outstanding warrants. A search following the arrest allegedly uncovered 11.4 grams of methamphetamine, 2.6 grams of cocaine, a machete, $2,532 in cash, a digital scale and a large quantity of small plastic bags.
Police say the man was initially charged with six offences, including breaching a release order. Following the search warrant execution, he was charged with an additional 15 offences related to firearms and weapons possession.
The accused made his first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Sept. 3, 2026. Police have not released his name.
