The Métis Nation is now accepting nominations for the 2027 Order of Gabriel Dumont Gold and Silver Medals, two of its highest civilian honours.
The Gold Medal recognizes individuals for a lifetime of service and achievement that has significantly benefited the Métis community.
The Silver Medal honours those who are actively making important contributions through leadership, activism, business, arts, culture, or community service.
Nominees do not need to be of Métis ancestry.
Nominations are open until October 16, 2026.
