UPDATE: Saskatoon RCMP seek public assistance in locating missing 32-year-old male

On August 29, 2026, Saskatoon RCMP, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Search and Rescue (SAR) and the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association (CASARA) facilitated a search for Cody Hanson at Chief Whitecap Dog Park in Saskatoon.
CASARA additionally conducted a search of the South Saskatchewan River. At this time, Cody Hanson remains missing.
Saskatoon RCMP continue to investigate.

On August 27, 2026, Saskatoon RCMP received a report of a missing 32-year-old male, Cody Hanson from Saskatoon.
He was last in contact with loved ones on August 21, 2026. Investigators believe he may have last been seen at Chief Whitecap Dog Park in Saskatoon.
Cody is described as:
- Height: 5 ft 8 in
- Weight: 138 lbs
- Eye colour: blue
- Hair colour and style: brown, medium length
- Other descriptors: wears eyeglasses, tattoo of angel wings on upper back, scars on both shoulders
Cody is known to travel to the Saskatoon area, but his current whereabouts are unknown.
