Police in Prince Albert are investigating a death in the city’s east end.
The Prince Albert Police Service launched the investigation Thursday in the 300 block of 40th Street East.
An autopsy date has not yet been set.
The Major Crimes Unit and the Forensic Identification Section are leading the investigation alongside the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
The Prince Albert Fire Department, City of Prince Albert Public Works, and Prince Albert Grand Council Search & Rescue have also assisted at the scene.
Traffic restrictions remain in place in the area. Members of the public are asked to avoid the area until further notice while crews remain on site.
Police say further updates will be released as new information becomes available.
