A major power outage has impacted more than 40 communities across northern and central Saskatchewan.
According to SaskPower, crews were dispatched Tuesday afternoon and are working to determine the cause of the outage and an estimated restoration time.
The outage, reported at approximately 3:25 p.m. August 19, affected communities including La Ronge, Stanley Mission, Montreal Lake First Nation, Waskesiu, Candle Lake, Christopher Lake, Emma Lake, Weyakwin, Anglin Lake, Hall Lake, Sucker River, Grandmother’s Bay and numerous surrounding rural areas.
SaskPower said crews are investigating the outage and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
