Two people are dead and another is in hospital following a single-vehicle rollover near Pelican Lake First Nation.
Spiritwood RCMP say officers responded to the crash at approximately 10:55 a.m. on Sunday, July 12, after receiving reports of a rollover on Highway 24 near the First Nation.
Emergency crews, including local firefighters and EMS, attended the scene.
Police say a 31-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, both from Pelican Lake First Nation, were pronounced dead at the scene. Their families have been notified.
A third occupant of the vehicle was transported to hospital by EMS with injuries described as serious.
Spiritwood RCMP continue to investigate the collision with assistance from a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
No further information has been released.
