On June 21, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., the Prince Albert Police Service responded to a residence in the 600 Block of 19th Street West to assist Parkland Ambulance who was attending for an unconscious two month old female.
On arrival, paramedics performed life saving efforts on the infant and transported her to the Victoria Hospital.
The infant was transported to the Jim Pattison Childrens Hospital in Saskatoon, in stable condition for further care on June 21st where she has remained.
On June 30, 2026, the two-month old infant passed away while in hospital.
The Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit, Forensic Identification Section and with assistance of Saskatoon Police Service Forensic Identification Section, along with the Coroner’s Office are investigating the death.
An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday, July 2nd, 2026.
