On July 26, 2026 at approximately 7:20 a.m., Moosomin RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle rollover on the mine road in the RM of Rocanville, SK.
The sole occupant of the vehicle was transported to hospital where he was later declared deceased. He has been identified as a 32-year-old male from Little Saskatchewan First Nation, MB. His family has been notified.
Moosomin RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
As of July 28 at 2:45 p.m., Saskatchewan RCMP reports there have been 49 fatal collisions with 60 fatalities on roadways policed by the Saskatchewan RCMP in 2026.
