Rose Valley RCMP say a suspect has been arrested following a shooting on Yellow Quill First Nation.
Police say the incident happened June 13 at about 4:35 a.m., when officers responded to a report of a shooting in the community.
An adult male was found injured outside a residence and was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening.
Officers also located a vehicle at the scene that had sustained fire damage.
RCMP had been searching for 26-year-old Kain Cheechan of Yellow Quill First Nation, who was wanted on multiple charges, including discharge of a firearm with intent and arson-related offences.
He has been taken into custody and is scheduled to appear in Melfort Provincial Court on June 15, 2026.
