A Regina man is facing child exploitation-related charges following an investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit.

Investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in Regina on May 14, 2026. Electronic devices were examined at the scene and seized as part of the investigation.

Police say 36-year-old Donavon Blacksioux of Regina was arrested on June 10 and charged with: possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material and making available child sexual abuse and exploitation material.

Blacksioux made his first appearance on the charges in Regina Provincial Court on June 11, 2026.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is a joint investigative team made up of members from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service, and Saskatoon Police Service. The unit investigates crimes involving child sexual abuse and exploitation material.
