Meadow Lake RCMP are investigating a shooting that left two people injured on Waterhen Lake First Nation.

Police say the incident happened June 13, 2026, at around 3 a.m., when officers were called to a report of a shooting at a residence in the community.

When they arrived, officers found two injured adults. Both were taken to hospital by EMS with injuries described as non-life threatening.

Officers are asking anyone who may have information or video surveillance of suspicious activity in the area on June 13 to come forward.

Police say the public will be notified if there is any imminent risk to safety.

RCMP say the investigation is ongoing.
