Three people are facing charges after a reported firearm discharge in Stanley Mission early Saturday morning.

According to the RCMP, officers responded to a call around 1:35 a.m. on May 23, 2026, and arrested three adults and one youth at a residence on Ballantyne Street.

Police say a sawed-off firearm, cash, and drug trafficking paraphernalia were seized during a search of the property.

19-year-old Ta’Shane Hercules and an unidentified Saskatchewan youth are each charged with multiple firearm-related offences and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

32-year-old Paul Charles, from Stanley Mission, has also been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The youth cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

A fourth adult arrested at the scene was later released without charge.

Hercules and the male teenager are scheduled to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on May 25, 2026 (Information #90555445 and #Y400808 respectively).

Charles is scheduled to appear in court in Stanley Mission on August 11, 2026 (Information #90555443).

The fourth adult was released without charge.
