Sturgeon Lake Central School was placed in lockdown Monday morning following a reported threat.
As a precaution, the school along with RCMP secured the school building, and the schools doors will remain locked throughout the day to help ensure student safety.
We contacted the RCMP for additional information about the incident. Police have not yet released details about the nature of the threat.
