The Wollaston seasonal overland road is scheduled to be closed to traffic on Friday April 10th.
Officials with the Hatchet Lake Denesuline First Nation say the closure is necessary due to wet conditions and to allow for the completion of the roadway this summer.
Progress on the roadway project is on schedule.
The Wollaston Barge will resume operations this summer.
The goal is to have the project completed and the road open permanently to traffic by early fall.
