The Saskatoon Police Service’s Major Crime Section is investigating the city’s fourth homicide of this year.
At around 3:45 a.m. on April 9, 2026, members of Patrol responded to the 500 block of Avenue X South for a report of an injured person.
Upon arrival, officers located a 39-year-old unresponsive male.
He was transported to hospital by EMS where he was later pronounced deceased.
Members of the Major Crime and Forensic Identification Sections are continuing to investigate.
