A 19-year-old man from Saskatoon is facing multiple charges after RCMP in Wollaston Lake seized 59 grams of crack cocaine.

Police say on April 27, officers learned an individual planned to bring illicit drugs into the northern community.

Mounties located the suspect upon arrival and allege he provided a false name and carried identification matching that alias.
He was arrested, and officers found approximately 59 grams of crack cocaine in his belongings.

Richard Dreaver is charged with possession, possession for the purpose of trafficking, obstructing a peace officer, identity fraud, and failing to comply with probation orders.

RCMP say the seizure represents significant harm reduction for a remote community.

Dreaver remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on April 30.
