On April 3, 2026, Kindersley RCMP were conducting proactive traffic enforcement and pulled over a vehicle with four occupants inside.
Kindersley RCMP found and seized fentanyl, methamphetamine, and heroin resulting in the arrest of four individuals in Kindersley, SK.
Approximately 51 grams of fentanyl, 16 grams of methamphetamine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, unstamped tobacco, a small amount of heroin, and a sum of cash were found as a result of the search.
The four occupants of the vehicle were arrested at the scene.
Now, 43-year-old Sheena Mackenzie from Kindersley is charged with: trafficking – fentanyl, Section 5(1), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; and being at large on undertaking, Section 145(3), Criminal Code.
Sheena Mackenzie is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on April 7, 2026.
As well, 43-year-old Mark Rogerson from Kindersley is charged with one count, trafficking – fentanyl, Section 5(1), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Mark Rogerson is scheduled to appear in court in Kindersley on May 19, 2026.
and 45-year-old Curtis Mikituk from Kindersley was arrested for breach of his statutory release and returned to custody.
The other female was later released from police custody without charge.
“Drug trafficking has serious consequences for individuals, families, and our communities as a whole,” says S/Sgt. Sebastian Andrews, the Kindersley RCMP detachment commander.
“Through proactive enforcement and ongoing investigations, our officers strive to keep our communities safe from the sale of these dangerous substances, such as fentanyl.”
