Award-winning Indigenous artist Teagan Littlechief is set to bring her high-energy country rock performance to Tisdale next month.
The Tisdale Arts Council will host Littlechief at the Maurice Taylor Performing Arts Theatre in the Tisdale Recplex on May 2 at 7:30 p.m.
Backed by a four-piece band, Littlechief’s show blends powerful vocals with an energetic mix of original music and well-known covers. Her performances often include a popular rendition of Me and Bobby McGee, alongside original material such as her single “Hell Bent and Heaven Bound.”
Littlechief, considered one of Canada’s leading Indigenous artists, has earned significant recognition for her work. She is the first Indigenous woman to win Female Artist of the Year at the Saskatchewan Country Music Association and was named Contemporary Indigenous Artist of the Year by SaskMusic in 2025.
Organizers say the performance offers more than just a concert experience. With a dynamic stage presence and emotionally driven songwriting, Littlechief is known for connecting deeply with audiences and delivering an engaging live show.
Tickets are $25 and are available at local retailer NE Appliance Plus or through the Tisdale Arts Council website.
