RCMP are investigating a homicide on Montreal Lake Cree Nation.
Police say officers were called to a house on the community about an injured woman early Saturday morning.
The woman was declared dead at the scene by EMS.
RCMP believe her death was a homicide and is considered suspicious.
She has been identified as 31-year-old Tanya Roberts, from Montreal Lake Cree Nation. RCMP say her family has been notified.
At this point, no arrests or charges have been made, but the Homicide Investigations Unit has been brought in to investigate.
