On February 28, 2026, Black Lake RCMP received a report of a missing 40-year-old male, Jonathon James Powder from Fond du Lac. He also goes by the name ‘Jay’.
He was last in contact with loved ones on February 27 around 2:00 p.m.
Since he was reported missing, Black Lake RCMP have been checking places Jonathon is known to visit and following up on information received.
They are now asking members of the public to report information on Jonathon’s whereabouts.
Jonathon is described as:
Height: 5 ft 8 in
Weight: 169 lbs
Eye colour: brown
Hair colour and style: short, dark brown
Last seen wearing: rubber boots, black Carhartt sweater, camo pants, black jacket, black Carhartt hat
Other descriptors: full beard, scar on right arm, neck tattoo of a star, forearm tattoo of a rose, and upper left arm tattoo
He may be driving a burgundy Hyundai Tucson SUV with a SK license plate 531 PDE.
Jonathon is known to travel to the following areas:
Fond du Lac
Black Lake
Wollaston Lake
Rabbit Lake
Grandmother’s Bay
La Ronge
Saskatoon
