Saskatchewan RCMP continues to investigate.
No further reports of sudden deaths or illness potentially related to a report of a possible hazardous beverage or liquid have been made to police at this time.
There is no connection with commercially available beverages.
The initial warning was issued out of caution after a report was made to police.
We welcome reports of this nature so investigators can further assess whether notification about potential dangers to the public is required.
Currently, there is no indication of an increased risk to the public, though Battlefords RCMP continue to remind the public to exercise caution and not consume any unknown beverages or liquid substances.

Battlefords RCMP are warning the public about a report received of a potentially hazardous, consumable liquid beverage/substance circulating in the Battlefords Detachment area.
The detachment is investigating multiple sudden deaths that have been reported in the area in the past week. RCMP and the Coroners Service are in the preliminary stages of determining whether or not the sudden deaths are related to this report. Families are being notified.
The RCMP do not have specific details or descriptors to provide of the liquid beverage/substance at this time. Given the potential safety risk involved, authorities are notifying the public in the Battlefords Detachment area to exercise caution and not consume any unknown liquid beverages/substances.
