The Prince Albert Police Service Crime Reduction Team has arrested a 34-year-old man following a major drug trafficking investigation in Prince Albert.
On February 13th, officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of 7th Street East. One male suspect was safely taken into custody.
Police seized: 1,515 grams of cocaine, 608 grams of methamphetamine, 152 grams of fentanyl, 1,328 grams of MDMA, approximately $12,500 Canadian currency, Kilo-level drug packaging materials, three cellular phones, a digital scale, and a money counter.
The accused, Liban Elmi is charged with multiple offences including possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, methamphetamine, MDMA, fentanyl, and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.
He appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on February 17, 2026.
