A public inquest into the death of a man at the Regina Provincial Correctional Centre will take place next month.
Gregory Bellegarde died while at the facility in December 2022.
An inquest has been scheduled for March in Regina looking into the circumstances around Bellegarde’s death.
At the inquest, the public will hear details around his death and a coroner’s jury will have an opportunity to make recommendations to prevent similar deaths in the future.
The inquest will take place from March 9 to the 13 at the Royal Hotel.
