The Regina Police Service is asking the public to share any information they have that may assist in an ongoing homicide investigation.

The victim is identified as 56 year-old Michael Norman Ross and Investigators are asking anyone who may have been in contact with Ross in the week leading up to January 19, 2026 to contact police.

The investigation started on January 19, 2026, when officers attempted a traffic stop near Saskatchewan Drive and Albert Street, shortly after 3 a.m.

The vehicle managed to evade police but was located a later in the 1400 block of Princess Street – all occupants fled the scene.

A body of a deceased, adult, male victim was found inside the vehicle.

Further investigation led officers to a residence in the 3700 block of Dewdney Avenue.

At this time, two people have been charged in relation to this investigation.

Monday, January 26, 2026, 37 year-old Steven Myslichuk was arrested and he is facing the following charges: Indignity to a Dead Body [CC 182(B)]; and Accessory After the Fact to Murder [CC 240].

Myslichuk will make his first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court, January 28, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.

Also, 26 year-old Kobe Samual Fiddler was charged with: Indignity to a Dead Body [CC 182(B)]; Flight from Peace Officer [CC 3210.17], Carrying a Concealed Weapon [CC 90]; Possession of a Firearm Contrary to a Prohibition Order [CC 117.01(1)]; and Accessory After the Fact to Murder [CC 240].
