A 26-year-old woman has been arrested and charged following an armed robbery and police pursuit in Prince Albert on Sunday.
Police were called to the 500 block of 5th Street East at approximately 9:45 a.m. on December 21, 2025, after receiving a report that a man had been robbed of his vehicle at knifepoint.
Officers located the adult male victim at the scene, who did not appear to have any physical injuries.
The stolen vehicle had fled the area prior to police arrival.
Through their investigation, officers later located the vehicle near 14th Avenue West and 19th Street West.
When police attempted to stop the vehicle using emergency equipment, it failed to stop. Officers initially believed there were two males inside the vehicle.
Due to the violent nature of the initial report, a police pursuit was authorized.
During the pursuit, officers deployed tire deflation devices at the intersection of 22nd Street and 15th Avenue East, and again in the 800 block of 15th Avenue East.
Despite this, the vehicle continued to evade police before it was ultimately disabled near 4th Avenue West and 38th Street West.
Police say the lone occupant of the vehicle was a woman, who was arrested without further incident.
The woman is facing charges of robbery, evading police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and possession of property obtained by crime.
She was scheduled to make her first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on December 22, 2025.
The Prince Albert Police Service says the investigation is ongoing.
