Battlefords RCMP received a report of a male requiring medical attention on Moosomin First Nation, on December 8, 2025 at approximately 12:00 p.m..
Officers immediately responded and provided medical aid.
The victim was later pronounced deceased by EMS at the scene.
He has been identified as 59-year-old Arnold Thomas from Saulteaux First Nation.
Thomas’ death is considered suspicious.
As a result, Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes has taken carriage of the investigation.
Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is asking anyone with information about this incident, or who was in contact with Arnold Thomas between December 4 and December 8, to contact police immediately by calling 310-RCMP.
