A 24-year-old man from Little Pine First Nation has been charged with second degree murder.
RCMP are accsing Keenan Starr in the second-degree murder of 43-year-old Tyrone Kakum, also from Little Pine First Nation.
According to RCMP, on Monday night, officers responded to a report of an assault at a home on Little Pine First Nation.
RCMP say despite life saving efforts Kakum was declared dead at the scene.
Starr was scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court for the charge today.
