Wanuskewin was given the Indigenous Tourism Award recognizing the organization’s excellence in delivering authentic and meaningful cultural experiences.

“We are so proud of our staff, with the direction of our board, to be recognized for a record-setting fourth time. To be selected like this on a national scale means a lot to our entire organization,” said Andrew McDonald, Co-Executive Director of Wanuskewin. “Recognition like this fuels our journey towards UNESCO World Heritage Designation becoming the first in the province’s history.”

Meanwhile, Dakota Dunes, was the recipient of Tourism Employer of the Year.
