Meth Buster’s Inc., a Saskatchewan-based remediation company founded in late 2020, continues to grow its service offerings, all while preparing to showcase their work at the upcoming First Nation Housing Professional Association (FNHPA) National Conference in Saskatoon on November 24–25.

Founder Clarence Natamagan launched Meth Buster’s Inc. after seeing the increasing impact of meth contamination on housing portfolios across the province. What began as a meth-remediation service has now expanded into mould remediation, consulting, and community-based training.

New Testing & Remediation Services

Natomagan established Meth Safe Consulting, a separate arm dedicated to meth and mould testing. The company uses strict quality-management procedures, client-verified sampling, and accredited laboratory analysis to ensure transparency and integrity.

“Our clients need to trust the process,” Natomagan explains. “We’ve built systems that show the integrity of our testing and remediation, so people know the results are accurate and the work is done professionally.”

According to Natomagan, nearly every unit tested based on community suspicions has come back positive for meth contamination and/or mould. The demand for reliable testing and remediation continues to grow, particularly within Indigenous communities.

Building Local Capacity

Recognizing the scale of the issue, Meth Buster’s Inc. has shifted part of its mission toward training communities to do their own remediation. Natomagan will go to communities to teach residents how to safely neutralize methamphetamine residues.

“We all have to learn how to clean our homes just like we’ve learned how to wash dishes,” Natomagan says. “If communities can build their own capacity, they can save money and take control of their housing portfolios.”

Training includes safety protocols, proper use of personal protective equipment, and hands-on instruction in the cleaning methods used by Meth Buster’s Inc.

Looking Ahead: National Conference in Saskatoon

Meth Buster’s Inc. will be presenting at the FNHPA National Conference, where they will display equipment, products, and remediation solutions and share knowledge with First Nation housing professionals from across Canada. Natomagan has presented at three previous FNHPA conferences and says this year’s event will be an important opportunity for learning and collaboration.

“We invite everyone to come see us, learn about our processes, and understand the realities communities are facing,” Natomagan says.
