Battlefords RCMP continue to investigate a serious assault that occurred in a motel parking lot along Highway 16 near North Battleford.
On August 31, 2025, at approximately 9:45 p.m., officers received a report of an injured male in the parking lot. RCMP members immediately responded, and an adult male was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Despite patrols in the area that evening, no suspects were located. Since the incident, Battlefords RCMP has been actively investigating and seeking information from the public.
At the time of the assault, the victim was wearing a black T-shirt, a denim vest, blue jeans, and cowboy boots. Investigators are sharing these details to assist anyone who may recall seeing the victim or suspicious activity in the area that night.
