Three people have been charged with an alleged attempted murder on Moosomin First Nation.
RCMP say a serious assault and kidnapping occurred in the community on September 14.
According to officers, a group of people assaulted a man while kidnapping the woman he was with, later assaulting her as well.
Police say the woman was able to escape her alleged captors and sought help.
She was taken to hospital with what were described as serious injuries.
The man reported no injuries to police.
As a result of an investigation, three people were charged with kidnapping, attempted murder, and robbery with a firearm for their involvement in the alleged incident.
34-year-old Jordan Osecap, 25-year-old Wionna Katcheech, and 28-year-old Neishia Baptiste, all from Moosomin First Nation were charged.
Osecap and Baptiste have bot been arrested while authorities are still on the lookout for Katcheech.
