It’s a exciting day in the city of Prince Albert while chiefs and delegates vote for the Vice Chief of the Prince Albert Grand Council.
The candidates running are incumbent Christopher Jobb, Alanis Charles, Randy Clarke, and Shavone Custer.
The first count of the ballots took place at 12 pm and the results were: Christopher Jobb – 141; Alanis Charles – 95; Randy Clarke – 24; Shavone Custer – 23.
There will now be a second vote that is taking place at 2pm at the PAGC Assembly taking place at the Prince Albert Exhibition Centre in Prince Albert.
The top three are to go in to the second round of voting but Randy Clarke has chosen to step aside.
The two candidates to be voted on now are Christopher Jobb and Rosie Charles.
Christopher Jobb was first elected in 2016 and is seeking his fourth term.
