Saskatchewan RCMP have arrested 16 people in Ricmound, Saskatchewan, after executing a search warrant.

They targeted a privately-owned decommissioned school which is inhabited by a group of individuals.

A complaint was sent into the RCMP stating that an individual occupying the building was in possession of a firearm on August 25, 2025.

Saskatchewan RCMP began an extensive investigation with assistance from: Critical Incident Response Team, Tactical Support Group, Containment Team, Police Dog Services, General Investigation Section, Remotely Piloted Aircraft System, Detachment members and Regina Police Service’s SWAT program.

More than 30 police vehicles participated along with two tactical vehicles at the scene.

As a result, officers arrested 16 adults.

One of those arrested was Romana Didulo, the self-proclaimed “Queen of Canada,” whom live-streamed her arrest.

A compound was established in a old school in Richmound for the “Kingdom of Canada.”

The next phase of the investigation is now in its early stages and Investigators are still in the process of searching the building, collecting evidence and interviewing those arrested.

No charges have been laid as of September 3,2025.

Authorities located and seized four replica handguns during the search.

While clearing the property, officers observed modifications that had been made to the existing structure and have notified fire investigators with the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency.

This investigation continues.
