Two suspects have been arrested after a series of violent incidents involving firearms that started Friday night, beginning late on August 29, 2025.

Incident #1

On August 29, police responded to a report of a robbery with a firearm in the 600 block of 17th Street West.

Two victims were seated in a vehicle in a driveway when two masked suspects, armed with a shotgun, approached the vehicle.

One of the victims was assaulted with the weapon before the suspects stole the victims’ dark blue 2016 Chevrolet Cruze and fled.

Incident #2

Shortly after midnight on August 30, police were dispatched to the 1000 block of 14th Street West for a report of a firearm discharge.

A lone male victim had been shot by suspects in a passing vehicle.

He was transported to hospital in Prince Albert before being transferred to Saskatoon for treatment of significant injuries.

Incident #3

Minutes later, at 12:11 a.m., police received a report of another robbery with a firearm on Jack Matheson Crescent.

A dark Chevrolet Cruze pulled up beside a parked vehicle, and masked suspects approached with a shotgun.

When the victim attempted to flee, his vehicle was shot and disabled.

The suspects attempted but failed to steal the vehicle before fleeing in the Cruze.

Incident #4

At 1:41 a.m., police responded to the unit block of River Street East, where two victims were confronted by suspects with a shotgun while parked in a Ford Escape.

The victims fled on foot as a weapon was discharged.

The suspects then stole the vehicle and left the scene with both the Escape and the previously stolen Cruze.

Vehicles and suspects located

Police located the stolen vehicles in the 20th Avenue West area.

During the investigation, three firearms were recovered, and two suspects—a 27-year-old female and a 28-year-old male—were taken into custody.

Both suspects made their first court appearance on September 2, 2025 and are charged with multiple firearm offences.
