Pierceland RCMP arrested Tamarah Dillon on September 14, 2025 near Cold Lake, AB.

She is scheduled to appear in Pierceland Provincial Court on October 7, 2025 (Information #90580875).

Loon Lake RCMP continue working to locate Frederick Derocher and ask members of the public to report sightings and information on his whereabouts.

On September 12, 2025, Loon Lake RCMP received a report of an attempted robbery with a firearm on Island Lake First Nation (also known as Ministikwan).

Officers responded immediately. Investigation determined an interaction occurred between two males and a female. The female and one of the males pointed a firearm at the male victim. The firearm was not discharged. The female and male left the residence in a Ford F-150 extended cab pickup truck, model year 2009 to 2014. It has a two-tone styled paint job – grey on the rocker panels and red above.

There were no physical injuries reported to police.

As a result of further investigation, 31-year-old Frederick Derocher from Island Lake First Nation and 32-year-old Tamarah Dillon of Onion Lake First Nation are each charged with:

– one count, robbery with a firearm, Section 344(1)(a.1), Criminal Code;

– one count, pointing a firearm, Section 87(1), Criminal Code;

– one count, use of an imitation firearm while committing an indictable offence, Section 85(2)(a), Criminal Code;

– one count, possession of a firearm or weapon contrary to order, Section 117.01(1), Criminal Code; and

– one count, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, Section 88(1), Criminal Code.

Warrants have been issued for Frederick Derocher and Tamarah Dillon’s arrest.

Loon Lake RCMP continue to work to locate them and ask members of the public to report sightings and information on their whereabouts.

Frederick Derocher is described as approximately 5’10” and 165 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.

 

Tamarah Dillon is described as approximately 5’5” and 190 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.
