On August 16, 2025, around 8:00 a.m., Pelican Narrows RCMP responded to a report of an 18-year-old male from Pelican Narrows who was seriously injured (by firearm) on Kaskew Crescent in Pelican Narrows. He was transported to the local health clinic by members of the public, where he was pronounced deceased shortly after. His family has been notified.
An autopsy will take place August 18, 2025 in Saskatoon.
Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes, supported by RCMP Historical Case Unit police officers, continue to investigate with the assistance of Pelican Narrows RCMP and RCMP Forensic Identification Section.
Investigators do not believe there is an increased safety risk at this time. Should this change, they will notify the public immediately.
